The Straw-Tube Tracker (STT) is designed to significantly improve the pattern finding and track reconstruction in the forward region of the ZEUS detector. It was installed during the HERA shutdown in 2000. After some problems in the beginning the detector was repared during the shutdown in 2002. In 2004 the first physics data with the STT were taken.
