Welcome to HES
Do you really want to be here ?
Well... suit yourself.
This is the home page for the Hadron Electron Separator
(HES) Detetctor of the
ZEUS
experiment at the DESY
Laboratory, in
Hamburg,
Germany.
Unfortunately, most of the information about the HES detector
is restricted to members of the ZEUS Collaboration. However, you can read
the
HES
overview to get a general description of the HES detector or you can
contact
me for further information. There is also a Postscript
version in German.
From here there are links to other pages which, hopefully,
provide useful information concerning the HES detector, its operation,
safety, and use.
The first few sections are grouped in anticipation of
who might be reading this and what information might be required. If this
isn't enough then try the
HES
Documentation Page for pointers to all documentation (UP arrow from
any HES page).
Safety - things relavent
to the safe operation of HES.
Deputy/Online - things
relevant to data acquistion.
HES Shift - things the
daily HES shift person should know (besides everything).
Where did they put that?
- some info on there to find things.
Using the HES - (what
an outlandish thought) some info on how to incorporate the HES data into
your physics analysis.
