            Search for excited fermions in ep collisions at HERA

                                    Abstract


    Searches for excited states of electrons, neutrinos and quarks have 
    been performed in ep collisions with the ZEUS detector at HERA using 
    an integrated luminosity of ~60 pb^{-1}. Such excited fermions decay 
    to a normal fermion and a photon, W or Z boson. No evidence for excited 
    fermion production was found, and limits are derived on the characteristic
    couplings as a function of the excited-fermion mass.
