Abstract submitted to the International Europhysics Conference on High Energy Physics July 12 - 18, 2001, Budapest, Hungary _________________________________________________________________________ Search for single top production in ep collisions at HERA ZEUS Collaboration Abstract A search for single top production, ep -> e t X, has been made with the ZEUS detector at HERA using an integrated luminosity of ~130 pb^{-1}. The top decays predominantly to Wb and a search for the W was made in two decay channels. For the leptonic mode, a search was made for events with missing transverse momentum and isolated leptons with large transverse momentum. For the hadronic decay mode, three-jet events were selected and their invariant mass distribution was examined after requiring that two of the jets had an invariant mass consistent with that of the W. In neither search was any deviation from the Standard Model prediction found. The results were used to constrain single top production ep -> e t X via a flavour changing neutral current (FCNC). Limits on the FCNC coupling \kappa_{tu\gamma} have been obtained.
