               Exclusive electroproduction of charmonium at HERA

                               ZEUS Collaboration





                                    Abstract



  Exclusive electroproduction of charmonium in ep collisions has been
studied with the ZEUS detector at HERA using an integrated luminosity
of 37 pb^-1.  The charmonium states were identified using the leptonic
decay channels.  Cross sections have been measured as a function of
Q^2 and W. The angular distribution of the decay leptons has been
analysed and compared to the expectations based on the s-channel
helicity conservation hypothesis.
