Global Tracking Trigger: this was my first year project. I was responsible for implementing a J/Psi second level trigger using information from the GTT.
Dstar: i have also been trying to extract a cross section for the Dstar particle. in previous studies it seemed that there was an excess of Dstar production in positron data, and i have been part of a collaborative effort to study this effect. The official DIS charm webpage for new data has more details. If you don't want to know the final score look away now... (there is no excess, sorry!). Eventually I hope to use these cross-sections to extract the Dstar structure function as well.
Scaled Momentum: part of my analysis will be to study the evolution of the scaled momentum parameter in the breit frame. I will use my Dstar sample to extract distributions of this for the charm quark and compare it to the inclusive sample.
