KsKs Final State Analysis Scheme

Below we list the DIS analysis cuts:

Analysis Scheme

1. Check for DIS electron using 4 eFinders (DST9)

ZEUS DATA --> Reconstructed Data in ntuples

2. Final Selection:

Reject events with y > 0.95

Find secondary V0s that point back to the vtx: dxy < 0.4cm, dzy < 0.6cm

Select events with 2 V0s with 0.480 < mass < 0.520

Use CTDCORR

3. DIS Cuts (standard):

-50 < vtx < 50cm
38 < E-pz < 60GeV
Electron Energy > 8.5GeV
Box Cut: 14x14cm

4. Final Cuts for the Mkk Invariant Mass:

Minimum Number of SuperLayers = 3
Event Track Number < 40 (to reduce pBeam bgnd)
Number of Track DOF > 32
Charged Tracks: -1.75 < eta < 1.75
2cm < Ks decayLength < 30cm
(Angle between Ks momentum vector and Ks decay position vector) < 0.12 rad
pion pt>100MeV
Ks pt>200MeV
Lambda Removal (Armenteros pt > 0.11)
| M(pi,pi) - < M(pi,pi) > | < 10.5 MeV
